Lotta changes! Where am I going with yoga?

It’s pretty amazing what happens when you open yourself up to change, huh? With starting this business, I have had my ideas moved and changed and altered in every direction. I started thinking about doing yoga for kids in April, and I planned to do after-school classes to achieve that. As I processed along the path, I came to the realization that after-school events might not happen as easily as I’d hoped. I thought, then, about combining online and in park classes, until the weather turns cold. In looking at those options, I found out that doing anything in the parks of Durango was very expensive. So I started online classes on the moxie.xyz platform. So far, I have learned A LOT doing online classes, and connected with a number of fun students for both Yoga Core and kids classes, but I am now considering doing classes through zoom, which most kids are comfortable with now, and most parents understand. I also have in park classes starting up next week, but in Bayfield, not Durango. That’s ok, I can pivot that direction, and I love Bayfield for the family-forward feeling that is there. It’s just a great chance to stay nimble and flexible, two lessons from yoga, coincidentally. I’m still looking at a great studio located near Florida Rd and CR 250 in Durango for some inside classes in the fall, let’s hope I will also be working with 9R kids by then as well. Stay with me as I move forward along this twisty path! I hope to meet you and/or your children as I go!

If you would be interested in checking out the zoom classes, I would love to test out my lessons with some children before I start on September 1st. Please drop me a line if that would be fun for you, and we could set up a private class. I’d love your input as well, of course!
